Glasgow Science Centre has been recognised as one of the top-rated visitor attractions in the world after receiving a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2026.
The award places the popular Glasgow attraction among the top 10% of things to do worldwide, based on consistently strong reviews and feedback from visitors.
Glasgow Science Centre, located on the banks of the River Clyde, is one of Scotland’s leading science and discovery attractions. It features hundreds of hands-on exhibits across three floors, alongside science theatre, a digital planetarium, outdoor exhibits, a café and shop, and additional experiences including the IMAX theatre, Newton Flight Academy and Glasgow Tower.
The centre is also rated five stars by VisitScotland and continues to play an important role in science education through school visits, outreach programmes and community engagement.
Announcing the award, Glasgow Science Centre thanked visitors who had taken the time to share their experiences and recommend the attraction to others.
The organisation also paid tribute to its team, saying their enthusiasm and hard work help create memorable days out for families, schools and visitors from across Scotland and beyond.
The Travellers’ Choice Award is based on reviews and ratings from people who have visited the attraction, highlighting destinations that consistently deliver positive experiences.
With a Tripadvisor rating of 4.3 from more than 2,700 reviews, Glasgow Science Centre remains one of the city’s most popular family-friendly attractions.
